Writing pipeline
As Lead Writer on Thermocline, I wrote the complete script and structured the game’s narrative flow, including player choices. Because the dialogue UI is intentionally compact, the writing was designed to read cleanly in tight message windows, prioritizing clarity over long-form prose. I then integrated the script directly into the game, implementing scenes as in-engine events and handling presentation details like portraits and sound cues so the intended timing and tone survive the jump from document to gameplay.
